You Are My Hiding Place (Christian Worship)

Verse 1

When the wind cuts hard through the trees

And my hands shake down to my knees

You gather the pieces I can't hold

You stay near when my heart grows cold

Pre-Chorus

I run to You, I run to You

When the dark won't let me see

I lift my eyes, I lift my eyes

And You are right here with me

Chorus

You are my hiding place

You are my hiding place

When fear says run away

You are my hiding place

You are my hiding place

I am safe in Your name

Verse 2

When the tears come quick like rain

And the night keeps calling my name

You speak peace to the ache inside

You hold me close through the longest fight

Pre-Chorus

I run to You, I run to You

When the dark won't let me see

I lift my eyes, I lift my eyes

And You are right here with me

Chorus

You are my hiding place

You are my hiding place

When fear says run away

You are my hiding place

You are my hiding place

I am safe in Your name

Bridge

You are the song in my silence

You are the strength in my weak hands

You are the hope that keeps rising

You are the promise that stands

So I will not fear tomorrow

I will not bow to the storm

Your faithful love is my shelter

And I am Yours forevermore

Chorus

You are my hiding place

You are my hiding place

When fear says run away

You are my hiding place

You are my hiding place

I am safe in Your name

Outro

I am safe in Your name

I am safe in Your name
