Open Hands, Open Heart (Acoustic Worship)

Verse 1

I was chasing every blessing

Hands so full of what I’d earned

Till I found an empty altar

And a fire I couldn’t burn

I was holding tight to answers

You were calling me by name

In the quiet of surrender

Nothing felt the same

Chorus

Open hands

Open heart

God

You can have every part

Take my plans

Tear them apart

If they keep me from where You are

Every breath

Every start

Let it be Your work of art

I am Yours

Where You are

Open hands

Open heart

Verse 2

You’re the Shepherd in my shadows

You’re the table in my need

You restore the broken pieces

With a kindness I can’t reach

So I’ll trade my fears for mercy

Lay my worries at Your feet

You have never failed Your promise

You are all I need

Chorus

Open hands

Open heart

God

You can have every part

Take my plans

Tear them apart

If they keep me from where You are

Every breath

Every start

Let it be Your work of art

I am Yours

Where You are

Open hands

Open heart

Bridge

If You say “go

” I’ll go (oh-oh)

If You say “stay

” I’ll stay

Teach my soul to trust

Every step of faith

When I can’t see the road (no)

I’ll follow anyway

You are good

You are good

You are good

Always

Chorus

Open hands

Open heart

God

You can have every part

Take my plans

Tear them apart

If they keep me from where You are

Every breath

Every start

Write Your name across my scars

I am Yours

Where You are

Open hands

Open heart
