Rise (Uplifting Christian)

Verse 1

At dawn the stone lay rolled away

The grave had lost its claim

Your wounded hands now lifted high

And mercy spoke Your name

The road of sorrow turned to gold

The cross became our door

You bore the weight of all our shame

And death can hold no more

Pre-Chorus

Now every heart can see

The Lamb who set us free

Chorus

Rise, Jesus, rise

Victorious King of glory

Rise, Jesus, rise

The heavens sing Your story

All praise belongs to You

All knees will bow, all things made new

Rise, Jesus, rise

Our living hope, our Lord

Verse 2

Upon the hill You blessed Your own

With peace within their hands

Then clouds received the risen Lord

As angels filled the land

The gates of heaven opened wide

The Son returned in light

Yet still You walk beside Your church

Until faith becomes sight

Pre-Chorus

Your promise carries on

Your Spirit leads us home

Chorus

Rise, Jesus, rise

Victorious King of glory

Rise, Jesus, rise

The heavens sing Your story

All praise belongs to You

All knees will bow, all things made new

Rise, Jesus, rise

Our living hope, our Lord

Bridge

Crown Him above the ages

Name Him above all names

Every throne will yield before Him

Every tongue proclaim

From Calvary to forever

Your mercy shall endure

The risen Christ is reigning

Your kingdom stands secure

Choir

Holy, holy, Jesus reigns

Worthy, worthy, praise His name

Holy, holy, Jesus reigns

King of kings forever

Final Chorus

Rise, Jesus, rise

Victorious King of glory

Rise, Jesus, rise

The heavens sing Your story

All praise belongs to You

All knees will bow, all things made new

Rise, Jesus, rise

Our living hope, our Lord

Outro

You reign above the highest throne

Yet call Your children home

Jesus, our risen King

Forevermore, amen
