Open The Door (Four-On-The-Floor Pulse)

Verse 1

I came in tired

Carried my whole week

Hands full of worry

Too worn out to speak

But You saw my face

Before I said a word

You met me right there

And I heard

Pre-Chorus

A little hope rise up

A little light break through

My heart kept saying

There’s room for You

I dropped my guard down

You moved in close

Now I can feel it

I’m not alone

Chorus

Open the door

Open it wide

Jesus, come in

And stay for the night

Open the door

Open the door

You bring the peace

I’ve been looking for

Verse 2

I had old mistakes

Stacked up like stones

Tried to drag them

All on my own

But mercy came

Like rain on dust

You named me loved

You called me up

Pre-Chorus

A little hope rise up

A little light break through

My heart kept saying

There’s room for You

I dropped my guard down

You moved in close

Now I can feel it

I’m not alone

Chorus

Open the door

Open it wide

Jesus, come in

And stay for the night

Open the door

Open the door

You bring the peace

I’ve been looking for

Bridge

Come heal the corners

Come fill the room

Come shake the ashes

Make all things new

My whole life’s ready

My whole heart too

I say yes, Lord

To all You do

Chorus

Open the door

Open it wide

Jesus, come in

And stay for the night

Open the door

Open the door

You bring the peace

I’ve been looking for

Outro
