Blind Eyes Open (Contemporary Christian)

Verse 1

Sitting by the roadside, calling out for help

Nobody would listen, I was crying to myself

Then I heard the footsteps of the Healer coming near

I shouted out to Jesus and He said, I'm here

Chorus

Blind eyes open, now I see

The Son of God has set me free

What was darkness now is light

Jesus opened up my eyes

Verse 2

He touched me with compassion, He asked me what I need

I said, Lord, I want to see, and He said, go, you're freed

Now I'm dancing in the daylight and I'm singing out His name

Everyone who meets Him will never be the same

Bridge

Open my eyes, open my heart

Show me Your glory right where we are

Open my eyes, open my heart

Jesus, You are

Chorus

Blind eyes open, now I see

The Son of God has set me free

What was darkness now is light

Jesus opened up my eyes
