Open The Door (Christian Worship)

Verse 1

I came in with dust on my hands

Heavy heart, open plan

You met me right where I am

No need to hide

I heard grace in the hallway air

Like a song that caught me there

Your mercy stood and stared

Right in my eyes

Pre-Chorus

And I was low

You called me home

I was lost

You led me close

Chorus

Open the door, I’m running in

Open the door, You let me in

Jesus, You stay

Jesus, You stay

Open the door, I’m running in

Open the door, You let me in

Jesus, You stay

Jesus, You stay (You stay)

Verse 2

Broken things on the tablecloth

Tears I thought that You forgot

You touched the shame I carried lots

And made it light

Now I’ve got a different song

Wider steps and steady lungs

Every fear that held me long

Falls behind

Pre-Chorus

And I was dry

You gave me rain

I was cold

You felt my pain

Chorus

Open the door, I’m running in

Open the door, You let me in

Jesus, You stay

Jesus, You stay

Open the door, I’m running in

Open the door, You let me in

Jesus, You stay

Jesus, You stay (You stay)

Bridge

You are good when I can’t see

You are near when I can’t breathe

Your love holds my story

Your love holds me

You are good when I can’t see

You are near when I can’t breathe

Your love holds my story

Your love holds me (holds me)

Chorus

Open the door, I’m running in

Open the door, You let me in

Jesus, You stay

Jesus, You stay

Open the door, I’m running in

Open the door, You let me in

Jesus, You stay

Jesus, You stay (You stay)
