Wandering Through the Pages (Worship Groove)

Verse 1

Got a thumb in Psalms

Coffee stain on Romans

Highlighter stars

On every promise I’m hoping

Reading Jacob wrestling

Feeling my own doubt

Underlined “I am with you”

When I can’t work it out

Chorus

I’m just wandering through the pages

Finding You between the lines

Every story

Every failure

You keep showing up in time

When I’m lost inside the questions

You are steady through the ages

I keep losing

You keep leading

As I’m wandering through the pages

Verse 2

Moses in the desert

Forty years of dry

I’m stuck at this traffic light

Asking You “why?”

Then I see the burning bush

In a stranger’s smile

Little grace on an ordinary

Tuesday mile

Chorus

I’m just wandering through the pages

Finding You between the lines

Every story

Every failure

You keep showing up in time

When I’m lost inside the questions

You are steady through the ages

I keep losing

You keep leading

As I’m wandering through the pages
