Brave like David (Upbeat Kids)

Intro

(drum roll and claps)

Verse 1

A shepherd boy out on the hills

Was looking after sheep

He wasn't tall, he wasn't strong

But he knew God would keep

Pre-Chorus

When the giant problem came

He remembered God's great name

Chorus

I can be brave like David

Standing tall when I feel small

I can be brave like David

'Cause my God is bigger than them all

Brave, brave, I can be brave!

Verse 2

When I'm nervous at the start

Or something seems too big

I'll take a breath and say a prayer

God helps me through it

Pre-Chorus

When the giant problem came

He remembered God's great name

Chorus

I can be brave like David

Standing tall when I feel small

I can be brave like David

'Cause my God is bigger than them all

Brave, brave, I can be brave!

Bridge

Not with swords and not with shields

Not with muscles, not with might

God is with me every day

So I can face it, I'll be alright

Final Chorus

I can be brave like David

Standing tall when I feel small

I can be brave like David

'Cause my God is bigger than them all

Brave, brave, I can be brave!

Outro
