Sorry & Forgiven (Kids Worship)

Intro

(claps and ukulele)

Verse 1

Sometimes I grab, sometimes I shout

Sometimes I stomp and pout about

But when I know that I was wrong

I come to God and sing this song

Chorus

I'm sorry, God, I'm sorry, Lord

You wash me clean, I'm loved once more

Forgiven, forgiven, a brand new start

You give me a happy heart

Verse 2

I'll say sorry to my friend

And help to make things right again

Then when someone is mean to me

I'll forgive them, full and free

Chorus

I'm sorry, God, I'm sorry, Lord

You wash me clean, I'm loved once more

Forgiven, forgiven, a brand new start

You give me a happy heart

Bridge

As far as east is from the west

You take my wrongs away

Your love is bigger than my mess

And new every day

Final Chorus

I'm sorry, God, I'm sorry, Lord

You wash me clean, I'm loved once more

Forgiven, forgiven, a brand new start

You give me a happy heart

Outro

A happy heart, a happy heart

Thank You, God, for a brand new start
