Walk on the Water Word (Upbeat Modern)

Verse 1

Phone on the table

Verse of the day just blinked

Thought I already knew it

Till it cut right through my thinking

Another cheap distraction

Scroll and I almost slid

But that one small line kept shouting

“Do you trust Me like you say you did?”

Chorus

I’m gonna walk on the water Word

Step where I can’t see the floor

If You said “come

” I’m coming

Lord

Not staying in this boat anymore

I’m gonna stand on the storm You stirred

Faith on fire in the middle of the swirl

If You said “come

” I’m running

Lord

I’m walking on the water Word (hey!)

Verse 2

Bills on the counter

Doctor’s call last week

Everyone’s got opinions

Only Yours goes deep

I drew a tiny promise

On a sticky note in blue

Stuck it right on my mirror

So I start my day by staring at Truth

Chorus

I’m gonna walk on the water Word

Step where I can’t see the floor

If You said “come

” I’m coming

Lord

Not staying in this boat anymore

I’m gonna stand on the storm You stirred

Faith on fire in the middle of the swirl

If You said “come

” I’m running

Lord

I’m walking on the water Word (oh yeah)

Bridge

Every “fear” You answer with “Remember”

Every “why” You cover with “I Am”

So I’ll trade my worry for surrender

Both hands up

Both feet on Your plan (on Your plan)

If You said “come

” I’m coming closer

If You said “go

” I’m gone

Your promise is my pavement

I’m already walking on

Chorus

I’m gonna walk on the water Word

Step where I can’t see the floor

If You said “come

” I’m coming

Lord

Not staying in this boat anymore

I’m gonna stand on the storm You stirred

Faith on fire in the middle of the swirl

If You said “come

” I’m running

Lord

I’m walking on the water Word

I’m walking on the water Word
