Under These Open Heavens (Acoustic Gospel)

Verse 1

I woke up with a worry

Heart heavy as a stone

Then I heard You in the silence

Saying

“Child

You’re not alone”

Chorus

Under these open heavens

Your mercy’s pouring down

I lift my empty hands up

You place a promise in my doubt

Under these open heavens

My fears fall to the ground

You take my broken hallelujah

And call it holy sound

Verse 2

I don’t have all the answers

Just a shaking

Stubborn faith

But Your word is like a lantern

Making daylight out of shade

Chorus

Under these open heavens

Your mercy’s pouring down

I lift my empty hands up

You place a promise in my doubt

Under these open heavens

My fears fall to the ground

You take my broken hallelujah

And call it holy sound

Bridge

Every valley

Every mountain

You are with me

You surround me (oh yeah)

Every failure

Every battle

You still call me

Your beloved child

Chorus

Under these open heavens

Your mercy’s pouring down

I lift my empty hands up

You place a promise in my doubt

Under these open heavens

My fears fall to the ground

You take my broken hallelujah

And call it holy sound
