Thank You for This Morning

Spoken Intro

Lord, thank You for the gift of a new day.

May our hearts overflow with gratitude for Your endless mercies.

Verse 1

Another sunrise paints the skies,

A canvas dipped in golden light,

With thankful hearts and waking eyes,

We praise the keeper of the night.

Spoken Interlude

Count your blessings one by one today.

Notice the kindness around you, and let gratitude fill your heart.

Chorus

Thank You for this morning,

For the breath and the day,

For the love that keeps on finding us,

For the hope that leads the way.

We will sing with open hearts,

We will walk in joy,

Every moment, every mercy,

You have given us to enjoy.

Verse 2

The kettle sings, the curtains sway,

A neighbor waves along the way,

Small gifts gather as we go,

Your faithful love is all we know.

Chorus

Thank You for this morning,

For the breath and the day,

For the love that keeps on finding us,

For the hope that leads the way.

We will sing with open hearts,

We will walk in joy,

Every moment, every mercy,

You have given us to enjoy.

Outro
