Stone in the Sling (Worship Ballad)

Verse 1

Picked last on the field again

Dust on my shoes

Head bowed low

Tiny hands

Such a trembling heart

As the giants all line the road

Chorus

But You put a stone in the sling in my hand

Saying

"Child

Just stand

Just stand"

When I feel small

You’re the strength I sing

You move the mountain with a stone in the sling

Verse 2

Five smooth hopes from the riverbed

One cracked voice and a borrowed song

Every fear shouting

"Turn around"

But Your whisper kept pulling me on

Chorus

’Cause You put a stone in the sling in my hand

Saying

"Child

Just stand

Just stand"

When I feel small

You’re the strength I sing

You move the mountain with a stone in the sling
