You Are My Rock and Refuge

Verse

The storm it rages the sky turns black

Fears surround me no turning back

The ground is shaking my steps unsure

But Your steadfast love it still endures

Chorus

You are my rock my refuge so strong

Through every trial You carry me along

Shelter in shadow safe in Your embrace

You are my strength my saving grace

Verse

The waves they crash the winds they scream

Life’s a tempest a fractured dream

But You hold firm You never fade

In Your hands my fears all laid

Chorus

You are my rock my refuge so strong

Through every trial You carry me along

Shelter in shadow safe in Your embrace

You are my strength my saving grace

Bridge

When the night falls and hope seems gone

Still You’re the light that pulls me on

In every storm in darkest fight

Your power turns the dark to light

Chorus

You are my rock my refuge so strong

Through every trial You carry me along

Shelter in shadow safe in Your embrace

You are my strength my saving grace
