Stone and Sparrow (Gentle Worship)

Verse 1

I was chasing every shadow

Empty hands and restless feet

Then You found me by the roadside

Called my name and pulled me to my knees

Chorus

You are my rock

My resting place

Hope in the storm

Light in the waiting

I bring my heart

I bring my days

Lay them all down

Here at Your table

Stone and sparrow in Your hands

Still You hold me

Still You stand

Verse 2

I have broken every promise

Said I’d stay

But walked away

Yet Your mercy runs to meet me

Every dawn

A brand new start of grace

Chorus

You are my rock

My resting place

Hope in the storm

Light in the waiting

I bring my heart

I bring my days

Lay them all down

Here at Your table

Stone and sparrow in Your hands

Still You hold me

Still You stand
