In Your Hands, Released (Contemporary Christian)

Verse 1

You meet me where the morning starts,

Before I find the words to pray.

Your kindness holds my restless heart,

And gently turns my face Your way.

Chorus

Jesus, stay beside me,

Lead me through the day.

When my strength is failing,

You are still my way.

Jesus, kind and faithful,

Keep my heart in peace.

In Your love I’m resting;

In Your hands, released.

Verse 2

You see the small and hidden tears,

You know the weight I cannot name.

Your mercy speaks above my fears;

Your steady love remains the same.

Chorus

Jesus, stay beside me,

Lead me through the day.

When my strength is failing,

You are still my way.

Jesus, kind and faithful,

Keep my heart in peace.

In Your love I’m resting;

In Your hands, released.

Bridge

Every breath is held by You,

Every road is known to You.

I will trust the steps ahead;

You are here, and I am led.

Final Chorus

Jesus, stay beside me,

Lead me through the day.

When my strength is failing,

You are still my way.

Jesus, kind and faithful,

Keep my heart in peace.

In Your love I’m resting;

In Your hands, released.
