Road Through the Wilderness (Modern Worship)

Verse 1

Dust on my shoes

Map in my hand

I thought I knew

Every mile of this land

Clouds rolled in

All my plans turned to sand

And I said

“Where now?

I don't understand”

Chorus

But You make a road through the wilderness

River in the dry

Dry ground

You speak to the storm in my chest

“Be still”

And the waves

They lay themselves down

When I don't know where I'm going next

You already walked it somehow

You make a road through the wilderness

So I'm walking with You now

Verse 2

Bread in my hands

Never looks like enough

Five loaves

Two fish

All this hunger

All this dust

You lift it up

Teach my heart how to trust

And from almost nothing

You pour out more than enough

Chorus

You make a road through the wilderness

River in the dry

Dry ground

You speak to the storm in my chest

“Be still”

And the waves

They lay themselves down

When I don't know where I'm going next

You already walked it somehow

You make a road through the wilderness

So I'm walking with You now (with You now)
