Open Your Hands (Contemporary Worship)

Verse 1

Phone still buzzing in my hand

Laundry piled by the sink

Coffee gone cold on the counter

And my mind won't even blink

But I stop for a breath

Let the hurry fall away

Pre-Chorus

Just a little space

Just a little light

In the middle of my noise

You meet me tonight

Chorus

Open your hands

Take this moment of peace

Open your hands

Let Your kindness reach me

Stay with me here

In the rush of the day

Open your hands

And lead me back to grace (back to grace)

Verse 2

Twenty steps and I’m distracted

Three more tabs in my head

But Your voice comes gentle

Like a lamp beside my bed

You turn my scattered thoughts

Into one steady prayer

Pre-Chorus

Just a little space

Just a little light

In the middle of my noise

You meet me tonight

Chorus

Open your hands

Take this moment of peace

Open your hands

Let Your kindness reach me

Stay with me here

In the rush of the day

Open your hands

And lead me back to grace (back to grace)

Bridge

When the week gets heavy

When my strength runs thin

You are still the shepherd

Still the place I run in

Teach my heart to listen

Teach my eyes to see

Every quiet second

Can be holy with You

Final Chorus

Open your hands

Take this moment of peace

Open your hands

Let Your kindness reach me

Stay with me here

In the rush of the day

Open your hands

And lead me back to grace (back to grace)
