Open The Door (Pulse Handclap)

Verse 1

I came in with my hands full

of worry and dust

You met me at the threshold

like You always does

My name on Your mercy

fresh in the air

I was running on empty

You were already there

Pre-Chorus

And I heard that pull

in the middle of the noise

Like a quiet call

with a mighty voice

You said, come close

so I came close

I had nothing left

and You still said, hope

Chorus

Open the door, open the door

You are the one I was waiting for

Open the door, open the door

I can’t stay out here anymore

(come on in) come on in

(come on in) come on in

Open the door, open the door

You are the one I was waiting for

Verse 2

You turned my fear to a table

set up with grace

Bread in my hunger

peace on my face

What was dead in me

started to breathe

When I saw Your goodness

looking back at me

Pre-Chorus

And I heard that pull

in the middle of the noise

Like a quiet call

with a mighty voice

You said, come close

so I came close

I had nothing left

and You still said, hope

Chorus

Open the door, open the door

You are the one I was waiting for

Open the door, open the door

I can’t stay out here anymore

(come on in) come on in

(come on in) come on in

Open the door, open the door

You are the one I was waiting for

Bridge

You don’t need a perfect heart

You take the broken part

You don’t turn me away

You stay

You don’t need a perfect heart

You take the broken part

You don’t turn me away

You stay

Chorus

Open the door, open the door

You are the one I was waiting for

Open the door, open the door

I can’t stay out here anymore

(come on in) come on in

(come on in) come on in

Open the door, open the door

You are the one I was waiting for
