Lead Us Onward (Contemporary Worship)

Spoken Intro

Lord, as we quiet our hearts this morning,

lead our steps into Your peace,

and let Your light surround us.

Verse 1

In the quiet of the morning light,

You are guiding every path we take,

holding us close through day and night,

giving strength for every choice we make.

Spoken Prayer

Teach us to listen before we speak,

and to be gentle with the hearts we meet.

When the way is difficult to see,

remind us, Lord, that You are near.

Chorus

Lead us onward, faithful Savior,

keep our hearts in Your care.

Through each moment, walk beside us;

we will trust You everywhere.

Verse 2

When the hours bring a heavier load,

when our hope feels small and far away,

You are present on the winding road,

You give us courage for today.

Chorus

Lead us onward, faithful Savior,

keep our hearts in Your care.

Through each moment, walk beside us;

we will trust You everywhere.

Bridge

Make us patient, make us kind,

leave Your peace in all we find.

With open hands and willing hearts,

we follow where Your mercy starts.

Final Chorus

Lead us onward, faithful Savior,

keep our hearts in Your care.

Through each moment, walk beside us;

we will trust You everywhere.

Spoken Outro

May our words bring comfort,

may our choices honor You,

and may we carry Your peace

into every place we go.

Amen.
