Hold On to the Corner of His Robe (Congregational Worship)

Verse 1

Storm rolled in on a Tuesday morning

Bills on the table

Phone face down

Coffee gone cold while my hands kept shaking

I said

“God

If You’re here

I could use You now”

Chorus

Hold on to the corner of His robe

When your heart’s hanging on by a thread

One touch

One word

One moment

Can raise what you thought was dead

You don’t need the answers

Just His hand

His hope

So hold on

Hold on to the corner of His robe

Verse 2

I’ve been the lost one

Walking in circles

I’ve been the doubter

Eyes on the ground

But grace keeps running like a river toward me

Till I’m standing in the flood

Of a mercy I’ve found (oh-oh)

Chorus

Hold on to the corner of His robe

When your heart’s hanging on by a thread

One touch

One word

One moment

Can raise what you thought was dead

You don’t need the answers

Just His hand

His hope

So hold on

Hold on to the corner of His robe

Bridge

If you’re tired of the trying (hey!)

If you’re done with the show

You can come like you’re crying

He already knows

Every tear

Every scar

Every secret you hold

He is closer than your breathing

Let Him carry your soul

Chorus

Hold on to the corner of His robe

When your heart’s hanging on by a thread

One touch

One word

One moment

Can raise what you thought was dead

You don’t need the answers

Just His hand

His hope

So hold on

Hold on to the corner of His robe

(So hold on)

Hold on to the corner of His robe
