Count My Blessings

Verse 1

I woke with the light dancing on the trees

A melody rising on the morning breeze

I lift my hands where the sun has shown

Praising the Name that calls me His own

Chorus

Bless the Name that breaks my chains

Through the fire through the rain

Every breath is a song to sing

Count my blessings to the King

Verse 2

From the valleys low to the mountains high

Your heartbeat echoes in the sky

You guide my feet on paths unknown

Still I trust I'm never alone

Bridge

Hallelujah flows like a stream

Washing over my every dream

Grace like rain it overflows

Your love's the reason my spirit grows

Chorus

Bless the Name that breaks my chains

Through the fire through the rain

Every breath is a song to sing

Count my blessings to the King

Verse 3

When my years fade like the setting sun

And the race is finished the battle won

My soul returns to Your embrace

To sing forever of Your grace
