Dust on My Sandals (Acoustic Worship)

Verse 1

I got dust on my sandals

From the roads I chose myself

Every shortcut

Every shadow

Led me further from Your help

Pre-Chorus

But Your mercy found my footprints

In the dirt where I had slipped

You were walking there beside me

Even when I turned and dipped

Chorus

Jesus

You still call my name

Through the ruin

Through the shame

You rewrite my broken days

With Your wild and wondrous grace

I was running

You still ran

Placed a welcome in my hands

Every step on shifting sand

You are steady

You are steady where I stand

Verse 2

I brought questions

I brought weakness

You brought water for my thirst

I brought pride dressed up as wisdom

You brought love that saw me first

Chorus

Jesus

You still call my name

Through the ruin

Through the shame

You rewrite my broken days

With Your wild and wondrous grace

I was running

You still ran

Placed a welcome in my hands

Every step on shifting sand

You are steady

You are steady where I stand
