Clay on the Potter’s Wheel (Band Gentle)

Verse 1

I was a stone in the river

Heavy and hard

Sinking down

You reached into the water

Pulled my heart from the ground

Chorus

You are the Potter

I am the clay

Shape me

Break me

Show me the way

Turn every crack into something You heal

I’m clay on the Potter’s wheel

I’m clay on the Potter’s wheel (oh Lord)

Verse 2

I brought an armful of failures

You brought a table and bread

You said

“My grace is sufficient”

Your word silenced my dread

Chorus

You are the Potter

I am the clay

Shape me

Break me

Show me the way

Turn every crack into something You heal

I’m clay on the Potter’s wheel

I’m clay on the Potter’s wheel (have Your way)

Bridge

If You say “stay

” I’ll stay

If You say “go

” I’ll go

If You say “wait

” I’ll wait here

Till Your glory shows (oh)

Chorus

You are the Potter

I am the clay

Shape me

Break me

Show me the way

Turn every crack into something You heal

I’m clay on the Potter’s wheel

I’m clay on the Potter’s wheel
