By the Blood of the Covenant (Solemn Uplifting)

Verse 1

On the hill where mercy opened wide

Love stood faithful, arms stretched out

Every wound became a doorway

Every tear turned fear around

Pre-Chorus

You did not leave us bound to yesterday

You called our wandering hearts by name

Chorus

By the blood of the covenant

We are welcomed, we are home

By the blood of the covenant

You have made the broken whole

A promise written deeper than the grave

A living hope no power can take away

By the blood of the covenant

We belong to You alone

Verse 2

Stone was rolled and morning found us

Death had lost its final word

From the ashes rose forgiveness

From the silence came Your breath

Pre-Chorus

Now the veil is torn before our eyes

Grace has drawn us to the Holy One

Chorus

By the blood of the covenant

We are welcomed, we are home

By the blood of the covenant

You have made the broken whole

A promise written deeper than the grave

A living hope no power can take away

By the blood of the covenant

We belong to You alone

Bridge

Jesus, faithful through the ages

Jesus, ransom, risen King

Every nation, every generation

Lifts one song to You

Choir

We are redeemed

We are redeemed

Lead

No chain can hold us

Choir

We are redeemed

Lead

Your love has claimed us

Choir

We are redeemed

All

The promise stands forever

The promise stands forever

Final Chorus

By the blood of the covenant

We are welcomed, we are home

By the blood of the covenant

You have made the broken whole

A promise written deeper than the grave

A living hope no power can take away

By the blood of the covenant

We belong to You alone

Outro

We belong to You alone

The promise stands forever
