At the Foot of the Cross I Kneel (Hymn Rewrite)

Verse 1

I come with nothing in my hands

I come with nothing I can give

I look upon the Lamb of God

Who died so I could live

Chorus

At the foot of the cross I kneel

Your love for me is real

Your wounds have made me whole

Jesus, Savior of my soul

Verse 2

The crown of thorns upon Your brow

The nails that held You there

You bore my shame, You took my place

You answered every prayer

Bridge

Here I stay, here I bow

Here I find my peace

Here I stay, here I bow

At the cross I'm free

Chorus

At the foot of the cross I kneel

Your love for me is real

Your wounds have made me whole

Jesus, Savior of my soul
