Wandering Through the Wilderness (Worship Male)

Verse 1

Bread in the morning

Manna on dry sand

I keep forgetting

Still You open Your hand

Cloud in the daytime

Fire when it’s dark

I keep on wandering

You keep guarding my heart

Chorus

You are God in the desert

You are God in the rain

You are God in the joy

You are God in the pain

When I’m lost in the middle

Of a story I don’t understand

You are God of forever

I am safe in Your hands (oh-oh)

Verse 2

Stones in my pockets

Giants in my way

All I’ve got is a promise

And a trembling faith

You whisper “be still now

The battle’s not yours”

I step out shaking

Watch You open the door

Chorus

You are God in the desert

You are God in the rain

You are God in the joy

You are God in the pain

When I’m lost in the middle

Of a story I don’t understand

You are God of forever

I am safe in Your hands (yeah, yeah)

Bridge

From the garden

To the grave

To an empty morning

And a rolled-back stone

Every chapter

Every page

Says I’m not walking alone (oh)

Chorus

You are God in the desert

You are God in the rain

You are God in the fire

You are God in the flame

When I’m lost in the middle

Of a story I don’t understand

You are God of forever

I am safe in Your hands

You are God of forever

I am safe in Your hands
