Touch the Hem (Soulful Gospel)

Verse 1

Twelve long years I suffered, spent everything I had

The doctors couldn't help me, I only got more sad

Then I heard that Jesus was passing through the town

I pushed my way through the crowd and I reached down

Chorus

If I can just touch the hem

If I can just get close to Him

One touch of faith and I'll be whole again

Lord, let me touch the hem

Verse 2

He stopped and turned around and asked, who touched Me just now

I fell before His feet and I told Him how

He looked at me with kindness, He said, daughter, go in peace

Your faith has made you well, and you are free

Bridge

Reach out, reach out

He is passing by today

Reach out, reach out

Jesus heals, He makes a way

Chorus

If I can just touch the hem

If I can just get close to Him

One touch of faith and I'll be whole again

Lord, let me touch the hem
