Thorns Became a Crown (Reverent Cinematic)

Verse 1

They twisted thorns together

And pressed them on His brow

They mocked the King of glory

I see His mercy now

Chorus

Thorns became a crown

When Jesus laid it down

The cross they meant for shame

Now lifts His holy name

Verse 2

He did not curse the soldiers

He did not call for war

He prayed for their forgiveness

That's what He suffered for

Bridge

Holy one

Wounded King

To Your cross

I cling

Chorus

Thorns became a crown

When Jesus laid it down

The cross they meant for shame

Now lifts His holy name
