The Seventh Word (Cinematic Hymn)

Verse 1

The sky grew dark at noonday

The earth held back its breath

The Son of God was hanging

In the shadow of death

Chorus

Into Your hands, O Father

He gave His spirit home

The Lamb had paid the ransom

For sinners not His own

Verse 2

The soldiers stood in wonder

The temple curtain tore

The price was paid completely

Forever and evermore

Bridge

For love He bowed

For love He died

For love my Saviour

Crucified

Chorus

Into Your hands, O Father

He gave His spirit home

The Lamb had paid the ransom

For sinners not His own
