The Man by the Pool (Gentle Cinematic)
Lyrics
Verse 1
Thirty-eight years by the water's edge
Waiting for someone to care
Then Jesus stopped and looked at me
And asked if I'd be healed right there
Chorus
Rise up, take your bed and walk
Jesus speaks and sickness stops
No more waiting by the pool
His word alone has made me whole
Verse 2
No one carried me before
No one stayed to lend a hand
But Jesus didn't need the stir
He simply told me, stand
Bridge
I'm walking now
I'm walking now
Jesus healed me
I'm walking now
Chorus
Rise up, take your bed and walk
Jesus speaks and sickness stops
No more waiting by the pool
His word alone has made me whole
