Your word is a lamp to our feet, Lord,

and a light unto our path. Guide our choices today.

A guiding light along the trail,

To keep our wandering feet secure,

A promise that will never fail,

A truth eternal and profound and pure.

Walk in His truth today,

and let His wisdom direct your words.

Lead me onward, step by step,

Keep my heart in what is true.

When the road bends out of sight,

I will place my trust in You.

Your counsel meets the morning air,

And steadies all I cannot see.

In every choice, in every care,

Your faithful hand is guiding me.

Lead me onward, step by step,

Keep my heart in what is true.

When the road bends out of sight,

I will place my trust in You.

Teach my hands to serve with kindness,

Teach my tongue to speak with grace.

Let Your truth shape every moment,

As I walk before Your face.

Lead us onward, step by step,

Keep our hearts in what is true.

Through the day and every season,

We will place our trust in You.
