Simon Carried the Cross (Reverent Cinematic)

Verse 1

A stranger on the roadside

Pulled in from the crowd

They laid the beam upon him

While Jesus knelt and bowed

Chorus

Simon carried the cross

Up the hill that day

Jesus, let me carry mine

And follow all the way

Verse 2

The wood was rough and splintered

The path was steep and long

But every step with Jesus

Was where he did belong

Bridge

Take my cross

I will go

Where You lead

I will go

Chorus

Simon carried the cross

Up the hill that day

Jesus, let me carry mine

And follow all the way
