Open The Door (Contemporary Christian)

Verse 1

I was tired of my own shadow

Carrying stones in my hands

You found me in the hallway

Knew my name before I ran

Pre-Chorus

And You said come closer

Come as you are

I felt that grace

Right where I broke apart

Chorus

Open the door, open the door

You are the hope I was made for

Open the door, open the door

I’m coming home to You once more

(Open the door)

(Open the door)

Verse 2

Now the table’s set for mercy

And my fear can’t stay inside

Every scar is turning into

A story that You keep alive

Pre-Chorus

And You said come closer

Come as you are

I felt that grace

Right where I broke apart

Chorus

Open the door, open the door

You are the hope I was made for

Open the door, open the door

I’m coming home to You once more

(Open the door)

(Open the door)

Bridge

If I crawl, You meet me

If I’m lost, You lead me

When I’m weak, You keep me

When I call, You hear me

Chorus

Open the door, open the door

You are the hope I was made for

Open the door, open the door

I’m coming home to You once more

(Open the door)
