One Step in Faith (Christian Worship)

Spoken Intro

Even when the path ahead is unseen,

take the next step in faith, trusting His promise.

Verse 1

Step by step through valleys low,

His steady hand will guide the way,

giving strength to help us grow,

and courage for another day.

Spoken Interlude

Do not look back at fear,

look forward to the goodness He has prepared.

Chorus

I will walk by faith, one step at a time,

You are beside me through every climb.

When I cannot see where the road may bend,

Your faithful love will lead me again.

Verse 2

Morning finds me still held fast,

Your quiet promise sees me through.

Every trial will someday pass;

I place my hope and trust in You.

Chorus

I will walk by faith, one step at a time,

You are beside me through every climb.

When I cannot see where the road may bend,

Your faithful love will lead me again.

Bridge

You go before me, You stay near,

You give me peace when roads are unclear.

With open hands, I follow where You lead;

Your word is all the hope I need.

Final Chorus

I will walk by faith, one step at a time,

You are beside me through every climb.

When I cannot see where the road may bend,

Your faithful love will lead me again.

Outro

One step in faith, held by Your hand,

You lead me onward; in You I stand.
