Not My Will, But Yours (Solemn Good)

Verse 1

In the shadow of the olive trees

Underneath a heavy sky

On His knees in Gethsemane

Hear the Savior's quiet cry

Sweat like drops of falling blood

Sorrow pressing like a flood

Chorus

Oh My Father, if it be Your will

Let this cup pass from My hand

Yet not My will but Yours be done

According to Your plan

I surrender all I am

For the healing of the land

Verse 2

With a heart of pure obedience

Standing in the silent night

Though the path is filled with suffering

He prepares to bear the light

Love that humbles all His pride

With the angels by His side

Chorus

Oh My Father, if it be Your will

Let this cup pass from My hand

Yet not My will but Yours be done

According to Your plan

I surrender all I am

For the healing of the land

Bridge

From the darkness to the dawning day

Through the agony and pain

He accepts the heavy wooden cross

To wash away our stain

Redemption's work begins right here

Perfect love that casts out fear

Outro

Not My will, but Yours be done

The journey has begun

In the quiet, He is still

Holding to the Father's will

Instrumental: fading cello and piano
