Mercy Draw Me Near

Verse 1

When the morning finds me weary

You are near, You call me by name

In the quiet, I remember

Your steady love has never changed

Pre-Chorus

Jesus, keep my heart beside You

Teach my restless thoughts to rest

Chorus

You are here, my faithful Savior

You are peace beneath my fears

Jesus, hold me through the waiting

Let Your mercy draw me near

Verse 2

When the road is hard to follow

When I cannot see the way

You are walking there before me

You are strength for every day

Pre-Chorus

Jesus, keep my heart beside You

Teach my restless thoughts to rest

Chorus

You are here, my faithful Savior

You are peace beneath my fears

Jesus, hold me through the waiting

Let Your mercy draw me near

Bridge

I will trust the hands that formed me

I will lean on what You’ve said

You are with me in the valley

You will lead where I am led

Final Chorus

You are here, my faithful Savior

You are peace beneath my fears

Jesus, hold me through the waiting

Let Your mercy draw me near

Outro

Jesus, keep my heart beside You

Let Your mercy draw me near
