Mercies That Are New

Spoken Intro

Father, we thank You for mercies that are new every morning.

Fill our hearts with fresh hope and enduring faith.

Verse 1

A steady stream of grace flows down,

to wash away our anxious fears,

a garment of pure love put on,

to wipe away our silent tears.

Spoken Interlude

Lift your eyes to heaven,

and receive the joy He gives.

Let hope rise in the quiet places;

His love is here, and life begins again.

Chorus

When morning opens wide the sky,

Your faithful mercy meets our need.

You lead us on with patient love,

and plant new courage like a seed.

Verse 2

You walk beside us through the ache,

You give our weary hearts their rest.

And every small beginning blooms

within the shelter of Your care.

Chorus

When morning opens wide the sky,

Your faithful mercy meets our need.

You lead us on with patient love,

and plant new courage like a seed.

Outro

Father, keep our hearts in hope.

Teach us to trust, and help us begin again.
