Light in Bethlehem (Modern Acoustic)

Verse 1

Quiet hills and a cold night sky

Shepherds keeping watch nearby

Then the darkness split in two

Heaven's song came breaking through

Pre-Chorus

Hurry down to the little town

Where a promise has come down

Chorus

There's a light in Bethlehem

Shining on the hearts of men

Love has come to make us new

Small and humble, strong and true

Every star is bowing low

For the King the angels know

Come and see, come and see

There's a light in Bethlehem

Verse 2

Not a palace, not a throne

Just a manger, hay and stone

Mary holds the gift of grace

Hope is resting in that place

Pre-Chorus

Hurry down to the little town

Where a promise has come down

Chorus

There's a light in Bethlehem

Shining on the hearts of men

Love has come to make us new

Small and humble, strong and true

Every star is bowing low

For the King the angels know

Come and see, come and see

There's a light in Bethlehem

Bridge

God with us, so near, so near

Every waiting heart is here

Glory in the highest place

Peace on earth through this small face

Final Chorus

There's a light in Bethlehem

Shining on the hearts of men

Love has come to make us new

Small and humble, strong and true

Every star is bowing low

For the King the angels know

Come and see, come and see

There's a light in Bethlehem

Outro

Come and see

There's a light in Bethlehem
