Let Me Rest in Thee

Verse 1

Jesus, meet me in the stillness

When my thoughts begin to race

You are patient as the morning

You are mercy, You are grace

Pre-Chorus

Here I lay my striving down

Here I turn my heart to You

Chorus

Jesus, keep me close to You

Be my shelter, be my peace

When the day is quiet and my heart is searching

Jesus, let me rest in Thee

Verse 2

You know every hidden worry

Every word I could not say

Still You call me loved and chosen

Still You walk with me each day

Pre-Chorus

Here I lay my striving down

Here I turn my heart to You

Chorus

Jesus, keep me close to You

Be my shelter, be my peace

When the day is quiet and my heart is searching

Jesus, let me rest in Thee

Bridge

At Your feet, my soul grows quiet

In Your hands, my fear can cease

Faithful Savior, gentle Shepherd

You are all I need

Final Chorus

Jesus, keep me close to You

Be my shelter, be my peace

When the day is quiet and my heart is searching

Jesus, let me rest in Thee

Jesus, let me rest in Thee

Outro
