Jesus, Stay Near (Contemporary Worship)

Verse 1

Jesus, meet me where the morning starts

Before the day can fill my hands

You know the words I cannot say

You stay beside me as I am

Chorus

Jesus, steady my heart

Be my shelter, be my song

When the road is hard to see

I will trust where You lead

Jesus, stay near

Verse 2

You sat with those the world passed by

You touched the hurt and welcomed in

Your mercy finds the smallest room

And makes a place for hope again

Chorus

Jesus, steady my heart

Be my shelter, be my song

When the road is hard to see

I will trust where You lead

Jesus, stay near

Bridge

In every season, You are faithful

In every question, You are kind

I bring the broken pieces to You

And find Your peace is here tonight

Final Chorus

Jesus, steady my heart

Be my shelter, be my song

When the road is hard to see

I will trust where You lead

Jesus, stay near

Jesus, stay near

Outro

Stay near, Jesus
