I Believe in Jesus Only (Moonrise)

Verse

I believe in Jesus only so true so pure so bright

He carries me through valleys turns my darkness into light

Each step I take I feel Him His presence in my soul

He whispers sacred secrets and makes my spirit whole

Chorus

Oh the overwhelming joy the hope that carries on

A journey to reunion where all sorrow will be gone

With choirs of heaven singing and harps that softly play

I’ll find the gates of glory on that everlasting day

Verse 2

Through storms of life unyielding through trials that wear me thin

He stands beside my weakness and shows me strength within

Beneath the starlit heavens I see His guiding hand

Each path a step toward promise to His celestial land

Chorus

Oh the overwhelming joy the hope that carries on

A journey to reunion where all sorrow will be gone

With choirs of heaven singing and harps that softly play

I’ll find the gates of glory on that everlasting day

Bridge

The strings arise in echoes they mimic heaven’s glow

A love so vast so endless across the tides it flows

The crescendos are building a symphony divine

I’m carried by His promise forever He is mine

Chorus

Oh the overwhelming joy the hope that carries on

A journey to reunion where all sorrow will be gone

With choirs of heaven singing and harps that softly play

I’ll find the gates of glory on that everlasting day
