I Am Held (Worship Intimate)

Verse 1

Before the morning finds the room,

I bring the words I cannot say.

You meet me in the quiet, Jesus,

And hold the pieces of my day.

Chorus

Jesus, stay beside me here,

When the road is hard to see.

You are patient, You are near;

Teach my restless heart to breathe.

I will rest beneath Your care,

I am held, because You’re there.

Verse 2

The kettle sings; the window clouds;

Small tasks are waiting by the door.

You make a table out of mercy,

And give me strength for what comes next.

Chorus

Jesus, stay beside me here,

When the road is hard to see.

You are patient, You are near;

Teach my restless heart to breathe.

I will rest beneath Your care,

I am held, because You’re there.

Bridge

In every pause, Your kindness finds me;

In every step, Your hand is sure.

Not by my strength, but by Your promise,

I can be still; I can endure.

Final Chorus

Jesus, stay beside me here,

When the road is hard to see.

You are patient, You are near;

Teach my restless heart to breathe.

I will rest beneath Your care,

I am held, because You’re there.

Outro

I am held, because You’re there.
