Held in Love (Gentle Contemporary)

Verse 1

You came to us in morning light,

A small hand curled around our own.

We gather here beside the water,

And promise you will not walk alone.

Chorus

May love be the path beneath your feet,

May grace be the shelter when you roam.

May every heart you meet be kind,

And may you always know you're home.

Verse 2

These gentle words, this simple sign,

A blessing spoken, clear and true.

As water rests upon your brow,

Our hope goes walking on with you.

Chorus

May love be the path beneath your feet,

May grace be the shelter when you roam.

May every heart you meet be kind,

And may you always know you're home.

Bridge

When days are wide and roads are new,

When questions rise and answers wait,

Remember all these arms around you,

And all the love that keeps its faith.

Final Chorus

May love be the path beneath your feet,

May grace be the shelter when you roam.

May every heart you meet be kind,

And may you always know you're home.

May you always know you're home.

Outro

Held in love, wherever you go.
