Go in Peace (Worship Modern)

Verse 1

The service ends, the candles low

But You go with us where we go

Out to the streets, the work, the home

We never walk this road alone

Pre-Chorus

Lift up your eyes, the day is wide

His mercy walking by our side

Chorus

Go in peace, go in grace

Carry His light to every place

Love one another, hold out your hand

Go in peace, in His love we stand

Verse 2

When Monday comes with heavy skies

And worries crowd behind our eyes

Remember what we sang today

His kindness will not fade away

Pre-Chorus

Lift up your eyes, the day is wide

His mercy walking by our side

Chorus

Go in peace, go in grace

Carry His light to every place

Love one another, hold out your hand

Go in peace, in His love we stand

Bridge

May He keep you, may He guide you

May His face shine bright upon you

Morning and evening, near and far

He knows your name and where you are

Final Chorus

Go in peace, go in grace

Carry His light to every place

Love one another, hold out your hand

Go in peace, in His love we stand

Outro
