Gethsemane Prayer (Reverent Cinematic)

Verse 1

In the garden dark and still

Jesus knelt beneath the trees

Sorrow pressing on His soul

Crying on His knees

Chorus

Not My will but Yours be done

Prayed the Father's only Son

In the shadow of the cross

He chose to bear our loss

Verse 2

Friends were sleeping close nearby

Torches flickered on the hill

Still He rose to meet the night

Surrendered to God's will

Bridge

For me He prayed

For me He stayed

For me He gave

His life to save

Chorus

Not My will but Yours be done

Prayed the Father's only Son

In the shadow of the cross

He chose to bear our loss
