Gates of Heaven (Ethereal Cinematic)

Verse 1

There's a city made of light where the river runs so clear

No more crying, no more dying, no more sorrow, no more fear

I can almost hear the singing rising from the other side

Where the Lamb upon the throne will wipe the tears from every eye

Chorus

Open wide the gates of heaven

Let the King of Glory in

Every tribe and every nation

Singing holy unto Him

I'll see His face, I'll be at home

Before the gates of heaven, before the throne

Verse 2

Streets of gold won't be the wonder, mansions won't be why I came

It's the moment I behold Him and He calls me by my name

All the battles will be over, all the weary nights will end

I'll be welcomed by my Savior, my Redeemer and my Friend

Chorus

Open wide the gates of heaven

Let the King of Glory in

Every tribe and every nation

Singing holy unto Him

I'll see His face, I'll be at home

Before the gates of heaven, before the throne

Bridge

Holy, holy, holy

Is the Lord God Almighty

Who was and is and is to come

Forever, forever

Chorus

Open wide the gates of heaven

Let the King of Glory in

Every tribe and every nation

Singing holy unto Him

I'll see His face, I'll be at home

Before the gates of heaven, before the throne
