From the Cross Came Grace (Inspirational Resurrection)

Verse 1

Stone sealed tight.

My heart was sealed too.

The dawn stayed quiet

over a world in blue.

But I held on

to a promised name.

Even in the dark

You were not the same.

Pre-Chorus

Then the ground gave way

and the shadows split.

One breath of heaven

and the grave lost grip.

Chorus

From the cross came grace

(From the cross came grace)

From the cross came grace

and the stone rolled away.

From the cross came grace

(From the cross came grace)

From the cross came grace

and You brought me to day.

Verse 2

I saw the tears

on the faces there.

I knew my own

in the broken air.

But Your mercy rose

where the sorrow fell.

What was lost in death

You know well.

Pre-Chorus

Then the ground gave way

and the shadows split.

One breath of heaven

and the grave lost grip.

Chorus

From the cross came grace

(From the cross came grace)

From the cross came grace

and the stone rolled away.

From the cross came grace

(From the cross came grace)

From the cross came grace

and You brought me to day.

Bridge

Living King, lift us up.

Call our dry bones home.

Love that conquered hell

will not leave us alone.

Living King, lift us up.

We can sing again.

Every wound is healed

where Your mercy went.

Final Chorus

From the cross came grace

(From the cross came grace)

From the cross came grace

and the stone rolled away.

From the cross came grace

(From the cross came grace)

From the cross came grace

and You brought me to day.

From the cross came grace

(From the cross came grace)

From the cross came grace

we are new, we are saved.
