Empty Grave, Full Heart (Easter Worship)

Verse 1

They sealed the tomb and set a guard

They thought the story ended there

But on the third day heaven thundered

And life came bursting through the air

Chorus

Empty grave, full heart

Jesus rose, a brand new start

Death is beaten, sin undone

Empty grave, the battle's won

Verse 2

The linen folded in the corner

The angel sitting on the stone

Why seek the living with the dead now

He has risen, He has gone

Bridge

Shout it loud, He is alive

Lift your voice to the sky

Shout it loud, He is alive

Jesus reigns on high

Chorus

Empty grave, full heart

Jesus rose, a brand new start

Death is beaten, sin undone

Empty grave, the battle's won
