Come To The River (Worship Mid-Tempo)

Verse 1

I came in tired and low

With dust on my shoes

You met me at the door

Like You always do

My hands were full of fear

My heart was in a storm

But You said, “Child, come near”

And I found mercy warm

Pre-Chorus

And when I called Your name

The walls began to shake

You opened up the way

You opened up the way

Chorus

Come to the river

Come and be made new

Come to the river

He is calling you

Come to the river

Lay it all down now

Come to the river

Grace is here somehow

Verse 2

I’ve seen the heavy chains

Fall off in Your light

I’ve watched the buried pain

Come back to life

Your love is not a phase

It stays when all else fades

You meet me every day

With fresh and holy grace

Pre-Chorus

And when I call Your name

The room begins to change

You open up the way

You open up the way

Chorus

Come to the river

Come and be made new

Come to the river

He is calling you

Come to the river

Lay it all down now

Come to the river

Grace is here somehow

Bridge

You are steady

You are near

You wash away

The guilt and fear

My song is rising

Here I stand

Held by the kindness

Of Your hands

Chorus

Come to the river

Come and be made new

Come to the river

He is calling you

Come to the river

Lay it all down now

Come to the river

Grace is here somehow
